My Background
As a senior professional, coach and mentor I have been coaching and developing individuals and teams for the last 25 years. My background is varied with experience working in leadership, learning and development, training, change management, risk, HR, customer service and sales in corporate, retail and government environments in medium to large New Zealand, Australian, American and Indian businesses while living in New Zealand and India. As I, myself, have had an international career, it helps me understand the specific challenges facing my clients who are, or who have been, based abroad or who are responsible for managing diverse teams. Having a full-time job as Manager, Risk and Reporting and balancing work, life, health risks at a personal level, my family (husband, 2 young adult sons and a Jack Russell dog) keeps me well grounded and reminds me about appreciating special moments together.
Why coaching?
Seeing people gain clarity, grow personally and professionally, and achieving bigger than they had ever dared to dream after a period of coaching, made me seek a professional qualification in coaching. I have completed Coach Training Certification with the International Coach Academy and am a member of ICF (International Coaching Federation) the gold standard in coaching.
As a coach
I create a challenging and respectful environment and ask you non-judgemental questions that lead you to make the decisions needed and follow through to achieve breakthrough and balance your life and career.
As a mentor
I share my experiences and learnings that will offer you different perspectives. My clients come to me from all walks of life across different countries to discuss various issues, some in their private lives and some in their work lives – often both. I will support you in your journey and support you to work out what’s important and take the necessary steps to make sure you gain the most from your life. My best moments are when working with people empowering them to make the most of opportunities and challenges to achieve their best personally and at work.
The first and most important person you must BELIEVE in is yourself
